If I had magic…

January 3, 2014 at 11:29 am (Uncategorized) (, )

Ever since I was a child, I have viewed magic as a force for good. It sounds clichéd, i know, but the truth.

My childhood fantasy was a fairy (not a fairy godmother mind you, more like Tinkerbell), who was small and visible only to me and who would talk to me and plan pranks with me, pranks that involved magic.

Now how is that a force for good you ask. Well its simple really. She had a small pot kind of thing which she used to store all her magic. And for every good deed i did, enough magic for 5 tricks would add to the pot. It didn’t get reduced when we were being bad (i was a kid after all and being fair has never been my strong point)

So there we were, talking and laughing and planning pranks and making imaginary trips to god knows where with only one condition – doing something good every once in a while just to ensure that our magic pot be always full.

This last line does sound like a moral message, but, whatever, I just want my Tinkerbell with lots of magic at her disposal!

Thou art a base…

January 2, 2014 at 7:39 am (Uncategorized)

Thou art a base, proud, shallow, beggarly, three-suited, hundred-pound, filthy worsted-stocking knave; a lily-liver’d, action-taking, whoreson, glass-gazing, superserviceable, finical rogue; one-trunk-inheriting slave; one that wouldst be a bawd in way of good service, and art nothing but the composition of a knave, beggar, coward, pandar, and the son and heir of a mungril bitch.
– William Shakepeare (King Lear)

This is one of the best and funniest insults I have ever read.

Tell me yours..
